The new year is around the corner!  Want to bring people outside to explore, enjoy, and help protect our region's most beautiful places?
Want to volunteer but don't want to be indoors?  
Are you an outdoor enthusiast who wants to take things to another level and share your enthusiasm with others?  
Interested in creating opportunities for people new to the outdoors or new to a specific type of experience in the outdoors?

Become a Sierra Club Outings leader in 2022! The Sierra Club Outings program trains volunteers to lead a variety of outings from short local hikes to longer treks and service trips. We are NOT a hiking club! Though we do offer hiking and backpacking trips, we also have walks, bike rides, boating trips - you want to do it?  You can do it with Sierra Club Outings!

This information session will review the training requirements to become a certified Sierra Club Outings leader.
This online information session is free, and will be led by volunteer Outings leaders.

Philly ICO is teaming up with a Philadelphia-based partner agency for a family outing to Ridley Creek State Park. Following a pavilion lunch + playtime at a playground, families will take a shuttle to Colonial Plantation. The day will end with marshmallows and s’mores.

Philly ICO is teaming up with a Camden-based partner agency on a hike outing. An ICO leader is needed to plan, organize and lead the trip.

Philly ICO is partnering with a Philadelphia-based partner agency on an outing to Ridley Creek State Park. An expert naturalist will lead a hike through Saunders Woods.

Philly ICO is partnering with a Philadelphia-based partner agency on a hike to Valley Forge National Historic Park. The outing will include a family picnic, story time, and hiking on the nearby trails.

Philly ICO is teaming up with a Philadelphia-based partner agency to take students indoor bouldering. The students will build skills they can use in future outdoor trips.
